In the south of Tochigi prefecture, there are several cities related to Japanese medieval and modern times. Ashikaga and Tochigi. The former prospered as the pedagogical center from medieval times and the latter prospered as a relay point of transportation in modern times. In the same prefecture, Saké brewery are counted for 25, which produce each distinct flavor of Saké. This worth trying when you visit Tochigi. In my course of Discover Tochigi, we surely visit one of the Saké breweries.
